We thought so too, so I put together some alternative graphics using the darkest blue from the big iMIS graphic on the left side. It looks OK, /but/...

After using it for a while in blue, we realized that the orange, while initially ugly, actually does a very nice job of drawing your eye to the "where am I" banner. It's meant as an accent, and on most screens it does a pretty good job in that capacity.

As it stands now, our client (still in prototype) is leaning toward keeping the orange instead of the reworked blue.
